For five decades, the Coalition for Family Harmony has been a vital resource in Ventura County, providing lifesaving support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and operating the county’s only rape crisis centers. This milestone also coincides with Domestic Violence Awareness Month, further underscoring the importance of the Coalition’s work and its ongoing commitment to creating safe, healthy communities. Every BAC meeting includes legislative updates impacting businesses from city, county, state and federal representatives. All members are welcome to attend this virtual meeting; those who want to advocate for the rights of local businesses are invited to join the committee. Through our strong relationships with elected officials at all levels (city, county and state), we advocate for the rights of local businesses and take positions on proposed ordinances, rulings and legislation. The Business Advocacy Committee (BAC) is part of the WVCBA’s commitment to representing the interests of business with government. The mission of the BAC is to carry out an advocacy program on behalf of WVCBA's membership and business community within the governmental and political arenas and foster effective working relationships.

Join us for our final quarterly networking breakfast of the year on Thursday, October 16 from 7:45-9:00 a.m. at the Ventura County Community Foundation in Camarillo. Start your workday with a power hour of forging stronger connections in the business community. There will be a full breakfast, networking opportunities, and a presentation by our breakfast sponsors, Spectrum Reach and JR Bookkeeping!
