The Oxnard Chamber’s Political Action Committee (PAC) represents our dedication to be politically active. The Oxnard Chamber led a broad-based coalition of public safety, landowners, elected officials, labor, farmers and real estate interests to defeat of anti-growth, anti-business Measure V in 2008.
The Oxnard Chamber PAC is normally only active every two years during the election cycle. Occasionally ballot measures or office vacancies may activate the group in off-election times. Candidate forums for local and state elections are hosted by the Oxnard Chamber PAC.
The mission of the Oxnard Chamber Political Action Committee is, to seek out, evaluate qualifications of, and endorse candidates for public office who support the ideals of our free enterprise system. The Oxnard Chamber’s PAC generally evaluates candidates for local, county and state offices.
